Regular Posyandu utilization is important for supporting growth monitoring, immunization, and early detection of health problems among children under five. This community service activity aimed to improve maternal or caregiver knowledge, utilization of the Maternal and Child Health/Growth Monitoring Book, Posyandu attendance, and cadre capacity through community mobilization and balanced nutrition education. The activity involved 80 mothers or caregivers, 80 children under five, and five Posyandu cadres. The intervention included education on Posyandu benefits, growth-chart interpretation, age-appropriate immunization, balanced nutrition, health-book review, and child weighing. The proportion of participants with good knowledge increased from 20.0% to 52.5%. Posyandu attendance coverage increased from 75.0% to 95.0%, while the number of children weighed and recorded on growth charts increased from 42 to 78. Age-appropriate immunization increased from 57.5% to 75.0%. However, 42.5% of children showed no weight gain or weight loss. The activity demonstrated descriptive improvements in knowledge, service utilization, and cadre capacity, while highlighting the need for continuous growth monitoring and follow-up.
