This community service activity was conducted to improve participants' knowledge and practical experience in utilizing household kitchen waste as liquid organic fertilizer (POC) using Effective Microorganisms 4 (EM4) and molasses. The activity was carried out with 17 participants from a women's community group in Adipasir Village, Banjarnegara. The implementation consisted of preparation, a pre-test, material delivery, demonstration, hands-on practice, assistance, and a post-test. Knowledge was evaluated using 10 multiple-choice questions administered before and after the training. Descriptive analysis showed that the total pre-test score was 1,320, with a mean score of 77.65, while the total post-test score increased to 1,650, with a mean score of 97.06. Thus, the mean score increased by 19.41 points, equivalent to approximately 25.0% relative to the initial mean score. The activity also provided participants with direct experience in preparing kitchen organic waste, EM4, molasses, and rice-washing water for the initial POC production process. These findings indicate that combining explanation, demonstration, hands-on practice, and assistance can support improvement in participants' understanding of household organic waste utilization. Further mentoring is recommended to monitor the fermentation process, product quality, and sustained application by the community.
