<![CDATA[This study aimed to examine the effect of interactive learning methods on students' interest in learning Economics at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Gorontalo. The study employed a quantitative research method with a survey approach. Data were collected using questionnaires as the primary research instrument and were supported by observation and documentation. The population comprised 432 tenth-grade students, with a sample of 86 students, representing 20% of the population. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, simple linear regression analysis, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), the coefficient of determination (R²), and statistical hypothesis testing with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics. The findings revealed that interactive learning methods had a positive and significant effect on students' interest in learning Economics at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Gorontalo. The results of the simple linear regression analysis indicated that the implementation of interactive learning methods positively enhanced students' learning interest. Furthermore, the t-test results showed that the value of t-count was higher than t-table with a significance value of less than 0.05, indicating that the research hypothesis was accepted. The coefficient of determination (R2) indicated that interactive learning methods contributed to students' interest in learning, while the remaining variance was explained by factors beyond the scope of this study. In conclusion, the implementation of interactive learning methods effectively enhances students' interest in learning Economics at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Gorontalo.]]>
