Human resource training and development play an important role in improving employee performance at Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) as a first-level health care facility. However, its implementation has not been optimal, especially after the pandemic. A preliminary study at the Sewon 1 Bantul Community Health Center showed that training programs tend to be unsustainable. This study is important to determine the extent to which human resource training and development affect employee performance. Objective: To determine the effect of human resource training and development on employee performance. Method: This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The research sample was 41 Civil Servants of the Sewon I Bantul Community Health Center taken using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire, and statistical tests were used in the form of multiple linear regression and F tests. Results: Based on the results of the data test with multiple linear regression tests, it shows that there is a significant influence between human resource training and employee performance with a significance value (sig. 2-tailed) of 0.018 <0.05. There is also a significant influence between human resource development on employee performance with a significance value (sig. 2-tailed) of 0.006 < 0.05, and the calculated F value obtained is 12.004 > 3.230 (calculated F > F table) with a significant value of 0.003 < 0.05, thus it can be interpreted that training and development of human resources have a significant influence on employee performance at the Sowon 1 Bantul Yogyakarta Health Center.
