<![CDATA[The accurate employee selection process is an important factor in supporting the quality of human resources at Koperasi Karya Usaha Tunggal. This study aims to compare the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) in determining the best employee candidates based on seven criteria, namely age, education, work experience, status, communication skills, personality, and interview results. The results of the calculations show that the AHP method places A17 (Rina Wulandari) as the best alternative with the highest priority value, while the SMART method places A44 (Rio Aditya) as the best candidate based on the utility value. The difference in results is due to the different calculation mechanisms of each method, where AHP provides more stable weights through consistency testing, while SMART offers a simpler weighting process. Overall, this study proves that the use of multi-criteria decision-making methods can improve objectivity and accuracy in the employee selection process, while also serving as a relevant reference for Koperasi Karya Usaha Tunggal in determining the best candidates according to the established criteria.]]>
