<![CDATA[This community service program aims to motivate for Elementary School in Biankuk and to help Marind children in Papua understand the importance of learning English from an early age. This activity was conducted at the Bivak Pintar in Biankuk Merauke It took place twice a week-on Saturday and Sundays over a three month period combining theory and practice with a total of 35 participants. Participants will be introduced vocabulary and grammar including nouns, verbs, pronouns, articles, to be, auxiliary verbs, and plural, singular nouns within the context of simple sentences. This community service program focuses on training Marind papuan children in English reading and writing. The goal is to foster motivation and an interest in learning English through this training, those who previously could not read or write will at the vary least gradually acquire the ability to do so, thereby enabling them to utilize these skill. Teachers are able to create a good learning atmosphere. This community service initiative are: (1) increased knowledge and understanding among indigenous Papuan children about the importance of learning English; (2) improved English reading and writing skills among indigenous Papuan children.]]>
