<![CDATA[The Desa Mandiri Peduli Gambut (DMPG) Program is a community empowerment initiative for sustainable peatland management aiming to improve community welfare while preserving the ecosystem. This study aims to calculate the total value and Social Return on Investment (SROI) ratio of the DMPG program in Marampiau Village, Tapin Regency, South Kalimantan. The study applied a descriptive quantitative approach using a census method with 12 respondents consisting of group members, community facilitators (FM), and community facilitator coordinators (KFM). The results show that the total benefits of the program reached IDR 289,770,000 with an investment value of IDR 113,000,000. The SROI ratio was 2.41, meaning that every IDR 1 invested generated social, economic, and environmental benefits of IDR 2.41. These findings prove that the DMPG program creates significant positive impacts and is feasible to be continued as a community empowerment model in peatland areas. ]]>
