Urolithiasis is a condition characterized by the formation of crystalline stones that precipitate from urine within the urinary tract; these stones can be located in the kidneys, ureters, bladder, or urethra. Various factors such as age, gender, and stone location can influence the characteristics of the condition, while the chosen management approach affects how it is treated. This study aimed to determine the characteristics of urolithiasis patients specifically regarding age, gender, stone location, and treatment at Meuraxa Hospital in Banda Aceh City. A quantitative descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach was employed, utilizing secondary data from 235 patient medical records. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis and presented as frequency distributions and percentages. The findings indicate that the largest age group among urolithiasis patients was the 36–45 age range, comprising 60 individuals (25.5%). Regarding gender, the majority of patients were male, totaling 157 individuals (66.8%). In terms of stone location, the most common site was the kidney, affecting 116 individuals (49.4%). Regarding treatment, the most common intervention was surgery, performed on a total of 150 patients (63.8%).
