<![CDATA[Education is a key factor in a nation's progress, with reading literacy being a crucial indicator of educational quality. However, low student interest in reading, particularly in remote areas like North Simatang Island, poses a significant challenge. Contributing factors include limited access to reading materials, a lack of supporting facilities, and the influence of entertainment media. This research is a community service activity aimed at improving elementary school students' interest and literacy skills by establishing a reading corner at Simatang Sabang Elementary School, North Dampal District, Tolitoli Regency. The implementation method included planning, implementation, and evaluation, with a collaborative approach between students, the school, and village officials. The results showed that an attractively designed reading corner equipped with a diverse collection of books increased students' enthusiasm and interest in reading. This activity demonstrates that simple yet targeted interventions can have a significant impact on improving literacy culture and can be replicated in other remote areas to support equitable education quality in Indonesia.]]>
