Literacy activities are activities that display students' skills, one example of which is writing skills. However, there are factors that cause problems with literacy, namely that literacy activities have not been accustomed to each school. The literacy movement at SDN Babatan IV/459 Surabaya has not yet implemented literacy activities in full. In this study, to support the literacy movement, the books read by students are KKPK and the skills produced by students are write short stories. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques are in the form of observation, interviews, and tests. The results obtained based on the data collection techniques that have been carried out show that the application of the literacy movement of reading KKPK books on elementary school students' writing skills can increase students' interest in reading, language skills, and writing skills. In this study, the test results obtained were the highest score of 90 which could be achieved by 4 students, while the lowest score was 57.5 which could be achieved by 1 student. The score often obtained by students was 87.5. The average value is 62.9. The implementation of the KKPK book reading literacy campaign on elementary school students' writing skills must continue to be practiced so that students become accustomed to reading and can increase their vocabulary so that students can be more skilled in expressing their ideas or thoughts through writing.
