<![CDATA[Hormonal contraception is a primary method used in family planning programs, with the most commonly used methods being injectable contraceptives, pills, and implants. One of the current challenges faced by Indonesia is its relatively high population density and rapid population growth. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the use of progestin-only hormonal contraceptives and changes in the menstrual cycle among women using hormonal contraception. This study employed an observational analytical method with a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of all women using hormonal contraception at the Misbah Midwifery Practice. The sample included all women using hormonal contraception at the same practice. Statistical analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of α = 0.05 and a 95% confidence level. The statistical analysis showed a p-value of 0.008 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between the use of progestin-only hormonal contraceptives and changes in the menstrual cycle. The use of hormonal contraception tended to cause changes in menstrual patterns, with the majority of users experiencing irregular menstrual cycles. The results indicate a significant association between the use of progestin-only hormonal contraceptives and changes in the menstrual cycle, suggesting that the type of contraceptive selected may influence women's menstrual patterns.]]>
