<![CDATA[This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of social-career guidance and counseling services on career maturity through social skills among twelfth-grade students at SMAN 1 Cipatat. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was employed. The sample consisted of 60 students selected through purposive sampling and assigned to an experimental group (n = 30), which received eight sessions of integrated social-career guidance and counseling services, and a control group (n = 30), which received conventional guidance and counseling services. The instruments were the Social Skills Scale (α = 0.876) and the Career Maturity Scale (α = 0.854). Data were analyzed using the paired sample t-test, independent sample t-test, and bootstrapping mediation analysis. The results showed that the experimental group achieved greater improvement than the control group in social skills (gain = 36.25; t = 11.382; p < 0.001; d = 2.94) and career maturity (gain = 33.42; t = 10.673; p < 0.001; d = 2.76). Social skills also served as a significant mediator, with a mediation proportion of 67.2% (95% CI = [15.38, 30.12]). These findings indicate that social-career guidance and counseling services have the potential to improve students’ career maturity through strengthened social skills. However, the results should be interpreted cautiously due to the quasi-experimental design, single-school sample, and unequal treatment intensity between groups. This study recommends integrating social and career services into regular guidance and counseling programs in senior high schools.]]>
