This study aims to analyze the effect of variations in the composition of Ramie Fiber (Boehmeria nivea) and Epoxy Resin on the mechanical properties of composites for use as a standard Yamaha YZF-155 ECU Cover. The composites were fabricated using the Hand Lay-Up method with 5% NaOH threatment for 12 Hours. The Ramie Fiber and epoxy resin compositions were 50%:50%, 40%:60%, and 30%:70%. Testing was conducted using the Impact Test according to ASTM D6110 and the bending test according to ASTM D790. The results showed that the highest Impact toughness was 0.364 J/mm2 at a composition of 50%:50 %, while the highest bending strength was 17.77 N/mm2 at a composition of 40%:60 %. Based on these results, Ramie fiber-reinforced epoxy resin composites have the potential to be used as an alternative material for the Yamaha YZF-155 ECU Cover, offering adequate mechanical properties and environmental benefits.
