Diarrhea remains a significant health problem affecting toddlers and can cause severe dehydration if not managed appropriately. Parents play a crucial role in recognizing early symptoms, providing initial first aid, implementing preventive measures, and seeking timely medical care. This community service activity aimed to enhance parents’ knowledge and skills regarding early detection, prevention, and home management of toddler diarrhea. Held in Topejawa, Takalar Regency, the activity involved 40 parents of toddlers. The methodology comprised pretests, interactive health education, discussions, demonstrations, simulations, and posttests. Educational topics included diarrhea recognition, dehydration signs, clean living habits, food hygiene, handwashing, oral rehydration solutions, zinc supplementation, continued feeding, and danger signs requiring referral. Evaluation results showed that participants’ mean knowledge scores increased from 58.25 to 84.50 after the intervention. The proportion of parents demonstrating good knowledge rose from 20.0% to 85.0%. Furthermore, skill evaluations revealed that 35 parents (87.5%) successfully performed the initial management simulation with good proficiency. These findings demonstrate that interactive education combined with practice effectively improves parental capacity. The Siaga Diare Balita program shows great potential for implementation through local Posyandu networks
