<![CDATA[Jakarin 1 composite maize seed is one of the best varieties of crops that perform effectively in non-ideal conditions and have great economic possibilities. The aim of this research is to examine the feasibility, profitability, efficiency, and break-even point (BEP) of the enterprise producing Jakarin 1 composite maize seed in Bukit Peninjauan II, Sukaraja District, Seluma Regency. The research was carried out in the period from August until November 2024 using the census method. Interviews were used to obtain primary data, and literature sources served as secondary data sources. As an analysis tool, we used income calculation, the Return-Cost (R/C) ratio, the Benefit-Cost (B/C) ratio, and BEP for production output and sales volume calculations. The findings reveal that the average total cost of production is IDR 10,415,040.87 in comparison with the total income that equals IDR 32,756,717.50, which means a net profit of IDR 22,341,676.63. The R/C ratio equals 2.17, and the B/C ratio equals 1.17, which allows us to conclude that the enterprise is efficient and economically feasible. The BEP happened at a sales volume of 347.17 kg of seed. In general, the Jakarin 1 composite maize seed production enterprise has good perspectives for developing as the main source of income for farmers.]]>
