<![CDATA[Field Learning Practice is an academic activity that provides students with an opportunity to connect knowledge gained in the classroom with records and archives management practices in a real work environment. This article discusses the implementation of field learning practice at the Regional Library and Archives Office of West Nusa Tenggara from 10 to 21 August 2026, focusing on photographic records listing, physical records classification, inactive records listing, and retrieval and examination of inactive records. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach through participatory observation, direct involvement in archival activities, and systematic recording of experiences and outputs. The results indicate that archival management requires not only conceptual understanding of classification, arrangement, preservation, and retrieval, but also accuracy, software skills, understanding of the context of records creation, and adaptability to organizational procedures. The institution has implemented the Integrated Dynamic Archival Information System (SRIKANDI) to support dynamic records management; however, challenges remain, particularly staff familiarity with manual practices and limitations in facilities and infrastructure. The experience of retrieving and examining inactive records, including documents related to community land disputes, demonstrates that records serve an important role as sources of information and evidence. These findings underline the need to strengthen human resource competencies, improve archival facilities and infrastructure, and maintain practice-based learning so that records management can become more effective, efficient, and supportive of organizational accountability.]]>
