<![CDATA[Jalak Towo cassava is one of the cassava varieties commonly cultivated by the residents of Ngargoyoso Village, Ngargoyoso Subdistrict, Karanganyar Regency. Jalak Towo cassava is distinguished by its crisp texture and savory flavor when cooked. The residents of Ngargoyoso Village still process cassava using simple methods, and cassava peel waste is not utilized optimally. This issue indicates that the village’s potential has not been optimally managed, even though Jalak Towo cassava has the potential to be processed into economically valuable products. Students from the UNS Impactful Learning Grant program provided a solution to this problem by conducting a community service activity involving the KWT Putri Manunggal of Ngargoyoso Village. The community service project was carried out using a multi-stage approach, including a planning phase such as observations and interviews with partners and an implementation phase such as outreach activities, demonstration sessions, training, and mentoring. The results of the community service project show that the KWT Putri Manunggal has made progress in processing Jalak Towo cassava into several marketable products, such as mocaf flour, moist brownies, and crispy brownies. Cassava peel waste has also been optimally utilized by being processed into liquid organic fertilizer. The moist brownies and crispy brownies are marketed under the brand names Mocaf Moist and Mocaf Crunch. All activities were successfully implemented, covering the aspects of production, processing, marketing, and the environment.]]>
