This study analyzed the effects of combining Ulva lactuca and Sargassum sp. during nursery culture on the growth, production, and incidence of ice-ice disease in Kappaphycus striatum. The experiment was conducted from August to October 2025 in the coastal waters of Batu Hopon, Huilelot Village, Semau Island, Kupang Regency. A randomized block design comprising four treatments and five replicates was employed. Seedlings were maintained in floating net cages for 21 days under four combination levels: P0 as the control, P1 as the low level, P2 as the medium level, and P3 as the high level. The seedlings were subsequently cultivated using the longline method for 45 days. ANOVA showed significant treatment effects on absolute growth (p=0.032) and production (p<0.05), but not on average daily growth (p=0.33) or specific growth rate (p=0.79). Production under P0, P1, P3, and P2 was 1,632, 1,405, 1,185, and 976 g/m, respectively. The LSD test showed that P0 differed significantly from P2 and P3, but not from P1. Ice-ice incidence ranged from 8% to 13% and was lowest under P2. P1 was the most effective combination, although it did not outperform the control.
