This study examines the internal communication strategies implemented by PT Indonesia Jaman Sekarang to improve employee work motivation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained through online interviews with key management informants and supported by relevant secondary sources. The findings show that the company developed an adaptive-holistic internal communication strategy consisting of two complementary dimensions. The structural-functional dimension included clearer communication flows, appropriate use of digital media, message standardization, clarification practices, vertical and horizontal communication, and direct managerial involvement. The relational-empathic dimension emphasized personal attention, team-building activities, company outings, social support, informal interaction, and managerial empathy toward employees affected by the pandemic. These strategies reduced communication barriers, strengthened trust, improved interpersonal relationships, and supported employee motivation under conditions of uncertainty. The study concludes that effective internal communication during organizational crises requires the integration of clear communication structures with relational and emotional support. This integrated approach positions internal communication as a strategic leadership capability for maintaining employee motivation, organizational cohesion, and work continuity during disruptive conditions. It also provides practical guidance for organizations facing similar disruptions.
