<![CDATA[Language development is a crucial aspect of early childhood growth, which needs to be fostered though real and meaningful experiences. One activity that supports children’s language development is the Cooking Class. This study aims to explore the effectivenees of Ccoking Class activities as an innovative medium for developing receptive and expressive language skills in aerly childhood. Using a descriptive qualitative approuch, the research was conducted at TK ABA Karangaseam 01 Paciran Lamongan, involving 31 children aged 4-5 years. The children were devided into four groups with different tasks in cooking vegetable soup, peeling and washing vegetables, grinding spices with traditional tools (it called Cobek and ulekan), and sauteing and cooking, Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that Cooking Class activities offer opportunities for children to understand verbal instructions (receptive language), and express their ideals and feeling (expressive language) naturally within an enjoyable sosial context.
