Elderly individuals often experience various health problems, including Rheumatoid Arthritis, which causes joint pain, stiffness, and swelling, thereby affecting their quality of life. One non-pharmacological treatment that can be used is the application of traditional Indonesian topical remedies to reduce joint pain. This study aimed to determine the effect of traditional topical treatment on joint pain in elderly individuals with rheumatoid arthritis. This Research used a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design, with 57 samples from a population of 180 selected through quota sampling. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant reduction in joint pain after the intervention.
