The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the world of education, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. This article aims to analyze innovations in digital-based PAI learning to improve student character in the modern era. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature review and observation methods to gain a comprehensive understanding of the implementation of digital learning. Data were collected from various sources, such as books, scientific journals, and relevant learning documentation. The results show that the use of digital media, such as e-learning, learning videos, and interactive applications, can increase student engagement in the learning process and strengthen character values, such as religiosity, responsibility, and honesty. Furthermore, digital-based learning provides flexibility and encourages student learning independence. However, its implementation still faces various challenges, such as limited technological infrastructure and low teacher digital competency. Therefore, an integrative strategy is needed through improving teacher competency, providing adequate facilities, and monitoring technology use so that digital-based PAI learning can run optimally and sustainably in supporting student character development.
