<![CDATA[Background: Nutritional status is a state of physical health of a person or group who are affected by the ingestion, absorption and utilization of nutrients and also by perceptions of body image. Purpose: Knowing the association between nutrient adequacy levels and body image perception with nutritional status among female studnets. Methods: This research used quantitative method with scross-sectional approach. Sampling using purposive sampling method, which is the sample was selected through a conditional selection process and the quantity of samples is 52 female students. Data analysis using statistical test of Chi-Square test. Results: The 52 female students in this study were between the ages of 18 and 23. The results of the analysis of the association between body image perception and nutritional status showed a significant association (p=0.041; p<0.05). Respondents with a negative body image were more commonly found in the overweight and Class I obesity categories and between nutrient adequacy levels and nutritional status show that all components of macronutrient adequacy levels have a significant association. Conclusion: There was a significant association between body image and nutritional status (p=0.041). In addition, the adequacy of energy, protein, fat, and carbohydrate intake was also significantly associated with nutritional status (p<0.05 for each).
