<![CDATA[The prevalence and incidence of rheumatoid arthritis vary across populations. Women are two to three times more likely to develop rheumatoid arthritis than men. In 2019, approximately 18 million people worldwide were living with rheumatoid arthritis. Of these, around 70% were women, while 55% were over 55 years of age. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the management of rheumatoid arthritis among pre-elderly and elderly individuals in the working area of Pasar Ikan Public Health Center, Bengkulu City, in 2025. This study employed a descriptive quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample was selected using total sampling and consisted of 41 pre-elderly and elderly individuals residing in the working area of Pasar Ikan Public Health Center, Bengkulu City. The univariate analysis showed that nearly half of the respondents (43.9%) had a moderate level of knowledge, while more than half (52.3%) demonstrated inappropriate management of rheumatoid arthritis. The bivariate analysis revealed a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the management of rheumatoid arthritis among pre-elderly and elderly individuals, with a p-value of 0.002. It can be concluded that there was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the management of rheumatoid arthritis among pre-elderly and elderly individuals in the working area of Pasar Ikan Public Health Center, Bengkulu City, in 2025. Respondents are encouraged to seek accurate information about rheumatoid arthritis from reliable sources so that they can recognize its signs and symptoms and undertake appropriate and effective management.]]>
