Low self-esteem in students can hinder self-development, self-confidence and social interaction. This study aims to describe the level of self-esteem of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Namang. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a population of 190 and a sample of 92 students conducted using random sampling techniques. This study uses descriptive statistical data analysis. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale to measure students' self-esteem, which was categorized into low, medium, and high. The results showed that the majority of students had self-esteem in the medium category (74%), followed by high (14%) and low (12%) categories. To increase self-esteem by changing negative mindsets into positive mindsets and stopping comparing yourself to others.
