General Background Elementary language education requires engaging pedagogical approaches to develop foundational literacy and cognitive abilities. Specific Background Current instructional practices at Biringkaloro Public Elementary School remain predominantly teacher-centered, resulting in passive participation and difficulties in text comprehension among third-grade learners. Knowledge Gap Although digital design platforms offer interactive solutions, the specific integration of customized digital board media to simultaneously address reading comprehension and logical reasoning in primary education remains underexplored. Aims This study develops a valid, practical, and functional digital educational medium to elevate analytical abilities and academic achievement in Indonesian language subjects. Results Following the ADDIE research and development framework with thirty third-grade subjects, expert validations yielded highly acceptable scores for both media and material quality. Furthermore, the intervention recorded excellent practicality scores from teacher and learner responses, alongside significant pretest-posttest improvements demonstrated by a paired t-test (p < 0.001) and moderate N-Gain scores for analytical reasoning and academic achievement. Novelty The research introduces unique mechanics embedding specific analytical reading prompts within a highly visual, accessible digital design platform specifically tailored for young learners. Implications Deploying this interactive medium provides educators with a highly viable instructional tool to transform passive classrooms into dynamic, student-centered educational environments that support foundational literacy. Highlights The ADDIE development framework successfully produced a highly valid and practical interactive medium for language instruction. Digital board mechanisms significantly stimulated student engagement and transformed passive classroom dynamics into active participation. Statistical evaluations confirmed notable academic progression and improved analytical reading abilities among primary-level participants.
