This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and work environment on employeeperformance at the Secretariat Office of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of SingkawangCity. The results indicate that, partially, leadership has a positive and significant effect on employeeperformance. Leadership that provides a sense of security, comfort, and concern for employee welfareenhances their motivation and work enthusiasm. Moreover, the work environment also shows a positiveand significant effect on employee performance. A harmonious and comfortable work environment, freefrom noise, contributes to a conducive atmosphere for achieving organizational goals. Simultaneously,leadership and work environment jointly have a positive and significant influence on employeeperformance, with leadership having a more dominant impact compared to the work environment.
