<![CDATA[Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills (calistung) are fundamental competencies that elementary school students need to master. However, some students still struggle to acquire these skills and require additional support. This activity aims to describe the implementation of calistung tutoring provided by university students through the Teaching Assistance Program at SDN 96 Mataram. The activity employed a participatory approach and direct mentoring, proceeding through stages of needs identification, planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. Four students with varying initial proficiency levels participated in the activity. The results demonstrated improvements in reading, writing, and arithmetic skills achieved through progressive exercises tailored to the students' abilities. Direct mentoring also enabled the university students to provide motivation, corrections, and feedback as needed. Thus, calistung mentoring serves as a form of additional support for students in developing their foundational reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.]]>
