<![CDATA[Residential satisfaction in flood-prone housing areas is influenced by environmental conditions and stakeholder responsibilities. In subsidized housing developments in Bekasi Regency, recurrent flooding has raised concerns regarding housing quality, residential comfort, and residents’ overall satisfaction. However, limited empirical evidence explains how developer responsibility and flood risk perception affect residential satisfaction through resident trust. This research investigates how perceptions of developer responsibility and flood risk influence residents’ satisfaction with their housing, while also examining the mediating role of resident trust in these relationships.. A quantitative approach was employed using data collected from 250 residents of flood-affected subsidized housing in Bekasi Regency through a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The results indicate that Developer Responsibility positively influences Resident Trust and Residential Satisfaction, whereas Flood Risk Perception negatively affects both Resident Trust and Residential Satisfaction. Resident Trust also has a positive effect on Residential Satisfaction and significantly mediates the relationships between Developer Responsibility, Flood Risk Perception, and Residential Satisfaction.
