This research aims to determine the effect of visual learning media, specifically pictures and concept maps, on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for grade X-2 students at MAS Muhammadiyah 1 Medan. The study focused on the topic of the Beliefs of the Makkah Society Before Islam. This research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 19 students. Data were collected using a 10-item multiple-choice test, which was administered before (pretest) and after (posttest) the students learned using the visual media. The collected data were then analyzed using a paired-samples t-test. The results showed a clear improvement in the students' learning outcomes. The average pretest score was 7.26, which increased to 8.26 in the posttest. The statistical analysis revealed a significance value of 0.035 (p < 0.05). This indicates that the use of visual learning media has a significant and positive effect on improving students' PAI learning outcomes. By presenting abstract concepts into concrete visuals, students become more engaged and find it easier to understand the lesson
