Indonesia, as an archipelagic country, has a strategic maritime territory, making sea transportation the primary mode for supporting national economic activities. Gresik Port, as one of the key ports in the Madura Strait region, plays a vital role in supporting logistics activities, particularly through Berlian Manyar Sejahtera (BMS) Terminal, which focuses on dry bulk and general cargo operations. With the increasing volume of cargo handled, there is a need to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of operational productivity. To address this challenge, the Pelindo Terminal Operating System Multipurpose (PTOS-M) was implemented, integrating real-time management of terminal operations. This study aims to analyze the impact of PTOS-M implementation on loading and unloading productivity at Berlian Manyar Sejahtera Terminal and to formulate recommendations for improving system effectiveness and efficiency. A quantitative approach with simple linear regression analysis using SPSS v16 was employed, involving 35 respondents consisting of operational staff, service users, and LALA KSOP Class II Gresik employees. The results indicate that PTOS-M implementation has a positive and significant effect on loading and unloading productivity, suggesting that optimizing the PTOS-M system can enhance the operational effectiveness and efficiency of cargo handling activities at Gresik Port.
