<![CDATA[This research is aquasy experiment aims to determine the effect of discovery learning models based on contextual learning to curiosity and academic honesty and to knowing the correlation between curiosity and academic honesty to students class XI IPA MAN Gowa on acid base subject matter. The research design used is "posttest only controls design". The study taken sample was class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI Science 3 as a control class. Instrumen for collecting data using observation sheets and interwiews. Data obtained was analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the analysis show the average value of curiosity and academic honesty of experimental group students 71.92 and 73.91 (enough category) and the control group were 54.81 and 50.93 (enough category). Results of testing of curiosity hypothesis using the t-test obtained value of t- count = 8,098 at a significant level 0.05 obtained by t- table = 1.996, and test of the academic honesty hypothesis using t- test obtained value of t- count = 16.604 at 0.05 significant level obtained t-table = 1.996. This shows that there is an effect of the discovery learning model based on contextual learning to the curiosity and academic honesty students of class XI IPA MAN Gowa. The results of product moment correlation analysis obtained without data r count = 0.027 at a significant level of 0.05 obtained r table = 0.068. Thing it shows that there is not correlation between curiosity and academic honesty of students in class XI IPA MAN Gowa on acid base subject matter.]]>
