Abstract

This study aims at determining the steps the development, validity, practicality and effectiveness of the model PKKBL through the measurement of learning outcomes and academic honesty junior high school students. PKKBL models equipped learning tools that help teachers and students make the learning process so that the learning outcomes of chemical and academic honesty students can be better than before. This research is the development of a model refers to the Borg and Gall (1983) that modofied into seven steps. Subject of research is the students of SMPN 30 Makassar VII6 class. Data collection tool uses observation sheets, questionnaires, worksheets, and achievement test sheet which has been validated. Data analysis techniques performed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive percentages. The result showed that: (1) PKKBL models can be developed through three stages of development, namely stages: (a) the initial study, (b) a limited test phase, and (c) the testing phase is extended, (2) the model PKKBL which has been developed showing: (a) instruments are valid models (4.3) and reliable (0.85), (b) the device is practically used (1.6) and (c) because the effectiveness may improve learning outcomes (82,28) and the students academic honesty belonging to adequate category (72.0). Keywords: Teaching Chemical Model, Contextual, Environment, Learning   Outcomes,      Academic Honesty

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aimed to know how to implement the steps of Guided Inquiry learning Model through Contextual Approach to improve the activity and study results of the Student of Class XI IPA3 of SMAN 7 Pinrang. This research was held by two cycles. Research result data show the average percentage of student learning activities the first cycle were 46. 80% in less active category and the second cycle were 69.28% in active category andcompleteness class percentage the first cycle were 33.33% not complete category and the second cycle were 83.33% with complete category. It can conclude that the steps of guided inquiry learning model through contextual approach can be improve the activity and study result of SMAN 7 Pinrang student.

Abstract

This is a development research that aims to evolve a learning instruments discovery learning model  based on the SKKNI on volumetric analysis subject that are valid, practical, and effective. The development model used in this study refers to the 4D, which consists of the defining, design, development, and dissemination. The learning instruments developed are RPP, LKPD, Student Learning Materials, and THB. The SKKNI-based discovery learning model volumetric learning device that was developed was then validated by two experts. After validation, a learning device trial is then conducted at the SMK-SMAK Makassar in class XI E with a total of 35 students. The results of the study indicate that the SKKNI-based discovery learning model developed after being validated was very accurate (V = 3.75). The learning device is stated to be practical because the practicality test related to: (1) the implementation of the learning device is in the fully implemented category (M = 1.86) included in the category (1.5 ≤ M ≤ 2.0), (2) the teacher gave a very positive response with a percentage of 93.49%, and (3) the students gave a very positive response with a percentage of 91.93%. This learning device also meets the effectiveness criteria, which are reviewed through learning outcomes with a classical percentage of completeness 94.00%. Therefore, the results of the study indicate that the developed learning device products meet valid, practical, and effective criteria.

Abstract

The study is experiment research (quasi experiment), which aims at analyzing the differences of critical thinking skill and learning outcomes taught by utilizing Problem-Based Learning and direct learning. The research design employed non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The results of descrective analysis obtained the mean score of critical thinking skill and learning outcomes in experiment class 1 is 77.60, and experiment class 2, 75.36 with each standard of deviation 6.92 and 9.06. The mean percentage of critical thinking skill indicator in experiment class 1 is 83.14 and in experiment class 2 is 78.01. The mean score of learning outcomes taught by utilizing PBM model is higher than the direct learning model. The result of hypothesis test with t=test at the significant level α = 0.05 obtained significance (0.001 < 0.05), indicate that the hypothesis is accepted. The conclusion of the study is there ia a difference of critical thinking skill and learning outcomes of grade XI MIPA at SMAN 15 Makassar taught by utilizing problem based learning model and direct learning on Hydrocarbon Compounds subject.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk membuat dan membandingkan karakteristik briket tempurung kelapa yang menggunakan perekat kanji dan perekat sagu. Penelitian ini meliputi pengeringan bahan baku, pengarangan, penggilingan dan pengayakan, pencampuran dengan perekat, pencetakan dan pengempaan, pengeringan, dan pengujian kerapatan, kadar abu, lama pembakaran dan nilai kalor. Karakteristik briket tempurung kelapa ditinjau dari kadar perekat sagu 8% diperoleh kerapatan tertinggi 0,9054 gr/cm3 berada di atas standar nasional indonesia yaitu minimal 0,44 gr/cm3, kadar abu tertinggi pada perekat sagu 8% diperoleh 1,81% telah memenuhi standar nasional indonesia yaitu maks 8%, lama pembakaran tertinggi pada perekat sagu 8% diperoleh 2,4251 jam, dan nilai kalor pada perekat sagu 8% yaitu 6101,1056 kal/gr telah memenuhi standar indonesia yaitu 5000 kal/gr. Sedangkan, ditinjau dari perekat kanji diperoleh kerapatan 0,9117 gr/cm3, kadar abu 1,85%, lama pembakaran 2,8904 jam, dan nilai kalor 6195,8206 kal/gr.Kata kunci : briket, tempurung kelapa, perekat, nilai kalor. ABSTRACTThis research was an experimental research that aimed to create and compare the characteristics of coconut shell briquettes using starch gluten and sago gluten. This research includes drying of raw materials, composing, grinding and sifting, mixing with gluten, printing and compressing, drying and testing of density, ash content, duration of combustion and calorific value. Characteristic of coconut shell briquettes with 8% of sago gluten obtained the highest density of 0,9054 g/cm3 above the SNI minimum level of 0,44 g/cm3, The highest ash content of briquettes with 8% of sago gluten was 1,81%, has met the SNI maximum level of 8%. The longest duration of combustion of briquettes with 8% of sago gluten was 2,4251 hours, and the calorific value of briquettes with 8% of sago gluten was  6101,1056 cal/g, has met the SNI level of 5000 cal/g. While using the starch gluten obtained the density 0,9117 g/cm3, ash content of 1,85%, duration of combustion of 2,8904 hours, and the calorific value of 6195,8206 cal/g.Keywords: briquettes, coconut shell, gluten, calorific value.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini berfokus pada penyuluhan teknik pengemasan sayur pada guru-guru SMAN 5 Tinggimoncong Kab. Gowa. Program kemitraan masyarakat ini bertujuan memberi gambaran kepada Guru-guru SMAN 5 Tinggimoncong Kab. Gowa (mitra) dengan melakukan: 1 Upaya-upaya yang dilakukan  untuk memberikan Pelatihan dan penyuluhan kepada guru-guru SMAN 5 Gowa agar  memahami Teknik pengemasan dan memilih kemasan yang cocok untuk sayuran agar sayuran bisa bertahan lama, 2) membantu Guru-guru SMAN 5 Gowa agar  terampil  dalam melakukan Teknik pengemasan dan memilih kemasan yang cocok untuk sayuran agar sayuran bias bertahan lama. Target dan luaran yang ingin dicapai yaitu Untuk merealisasikan program  yakni  bagaimana menjadikan guru-guru yang mampu melakukan teknik pengemasan sayuran agar sayuran yang mereka simpan dapat bertahan lama dan tidak cepat mengalami kerusakan. Dalam menyampaikan materi pelatihan di gunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab, dan demonstrasi langsung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasy experiment) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery berbasis kontekstual terhadap rasa ingin tahu dan kejujuran akademik, dan mengetahui korelasi antara rasa ingin tahu dan kejujuran akademik peserta didik kelas XI IPA MAN Gowa pada materi pokok asam basa. Desain penelitian adalah ”posttest only control design”. Sampel penelitian yang ditarik secara random adalah kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan wawancara. Data dianalaisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif diperoleh nilai rata-rata rasa ingin tahu dan kejujuran akademik peserta didik kelompok eksperimen berturut-turut 71,92 dan 73,91 (kategori cukup) dan kelompok kontrol yaitu 54,81 dan 50,93 (kategori cukup). Hasil pengujian hipotesis rasa ingin tahu menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung = 8,098 pada taraf signifikan 0.05 diperoleh ttabel = 1,996, dan uji hipotesis kejujuran akademik menggunakan uji t diperoleh nilai thitung = 16,604 pada taraf signifikan 0, 05 diperoleh ttabel = 1,996. Berarti ada pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery berbasis kontekstual terhadap rasa ingin tahu dan kejujuran akademik peserta didik. Hasil analisis korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai rhitung = 0,027 pada taraf signifikan 0,05 diperoleh rtabel =0,068. Ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada korelasi antara rasa ingin tahu dan kejujuran akademik peserta didik kelas XI IPA MAN Gowa pada materi pokok asam basa.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh model pembelajaran “Blended Learning” terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pitumpanua Kab.Wajo pada materi pokok sistem periodik unsur. Blended Learning adalah suatu pembelajaran yang memadukan antara pembelajaran langsung (face to face) dan pembelajaran online. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Blended Learning dikelas eksperimen dan pembelajaran langsung di kelas kontrol serta variabel terikatnya adalah motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok Sistem periodik unsur. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pitumpanua Kab.Wajo yang terdiri dari 9 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak dengan asumsi bahwa populasi bersifat homogen. Kelas yang terpilih sebagai sampel yaitu kelas X1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang terdiri dari 24 siswa dan kelas X4 sebagai kelas kontrol yang terdiri dari 22 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar siswa yang terdiri atas 20 butir soal pilihan ganda dan angket motivasi yang terdiri dari 31 butir pernyataan dengan 5 kriteria. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan uji t menghasilkan thitung > ttabel = 4.14 > 1,678 pada ═ 0,05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Blended Learning terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pitumpanua (studi pada materi pokok Sistem periodik unsur).Kata Kunci : Blended Learning, Motivasi, Hasil Belajar SiswaABSTRACTThe research was a quasi-experimental that aimed to know the Effect of “Blended Learning” Model to The Student’s Motivation andd Achievement in Grade X of Senior High School 1 Pitumpanua Kab.Wajo in the subject matter of the periodic system of elements. Blended Learning is a learning that combine directly intruction (face to face) and online learning. The independent variable in this study is a Blended Learning model of teaching and learning in class experiments directly in the control class and the dependent variable is motivation and student’s achievement in the subject matter of the periodic system of elements. The population was class X SMA Negeri 1 Pitumpanua Kab.Wajo which consists of 9 classes. Technique of random sampling done with the assumption that the population is homogeneous. Classes are selected as the sample of class X1 as an experimental class consisting of 24 students and classes X4 as the control class consisting of 22 students. Data collection techniques derived from students' achievement test consisting of 20 multiple choice items and motivation questionnaire consisting of 31 items with five criteria statements. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The hypothesis test using t test shows that tcalculate > ttable = 4.14 > 1,678 on α ═ 0,05. Concluded that there was an effect on the Blended Learning model of motivation and achievement of students of grade X SMA Negeri 1 Pitumpanua (studies on periodic system of elements).Keywords: Blended Learning, Motivation, student’s achievement

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk menemukan langkah-langkah yang tepat dalam penerapan model pembelajaran TGT sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan aktivitas belajar peserta didik Kelas X MIA-3 SMAN Tanete Rilau, barru. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Kelas X MIA-3 semester I tahun pembelajaran 2014/2015 sebanyak 38 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, siklus I dilaksanakan sebanyak 3 kali pertemuan dengan waktu 9 jam pelajaran. Pertemuan pertama dilaksanakan game, pertemuan kedua dilaksanakan turnamen dan pada pertemuan ketiga dilaksanakan tes hasil belajar dan begitupula pada siklus II. Adapun langkah-langkahnya yang tepat dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran TGT yaitu: (1) Guru menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran dan memotivasi peserta didik serta guru mengaitkan pelajaran sekarang dengan yang terdahulu. (2) Guru menjelaskan  langkah-langkah model TGT dengan menggunakan bahasa yang mudah dipahami dan menyampaikan materi kepada peserta didik dengan media power point. (3) Guru mengorganisasikan peserta didik ke dalam kelompok belajar (setiap kelompok beranggotakan 4-6 orang peserta didik) dan menunjuk ketua kelompok. (4) Guru meminta perwakilan masing-masing kelompok untuk berada di meja turnamen dan memberikan soal untuk di jawab. (5) Guru membagi peserta didik ke dalam meja turnamen dan membagikan soal-soal turnamen berdasarkan tingkat kesulitannya kepada masing-masing kelompok turnamen. (6) Guru memberikan penghargan kepada setiap kelompok yang memiliki poin tinggi.Kata kunci: Penelitian tindakan kelas, Langkah-langkah model pembelajaran TGT                                              ABSTRACTThis study is about a research of a classroom action that aims to find the right steps in the TGT (Team games tournament) implementation learning model in order to increase the motivation and activity student learning outcomes in class X MIA-3, SMAN 1 Tanete Rilau, barru. The subject is the 10th students consist of 38 participants. This study was conducted in two cycles, the first cycle performed 3 time meeting in taking 9 hours. The first meeting implemented game, the second implemented tournament and at the third meeting conducted study outcome test and similarly,on the second cycle. The steps are: (1) The teacher (the researcher) informed the purpose of learning and motivated the students, and the teacher connected this lesson and its previous. (2) The teacher (the researcher) explained the model steps of TGT in using an easy way to be understood and using power point software as well. (3) The teacher (the researcher) organized the students in a group (each group has 4 to 6 participants) this search group has a leader. (4) The teacher (researcher) asked for each group to keep staying in the tournament table to give questions to be answered. (5) The teacher (the researcher) divided in several tournament tables and distributed the tournament questions based on the difficulties level to the each group. (6) The teacher (the researcher) then gave a reward to the each group who had high point.Key words: The action class research, measures TGT learning model.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh positif model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E melalui pendekatan kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar IPA kimia siswa kelas VIII SMPN 30 Makassar tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 pada materi pokok bahan kimia. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIII9 untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII5 untuk kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa masing-masing 40 orang. Kelas ekperimen diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E melalui pendekatan kontekstual dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Prosedur penelitian terdiri atas tiga tahap, yakni tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Data diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar siswa yang terdiri atas 20 butir soal pilihan ganda. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan uji t menghasilkan thitung>ttabel = 4,88>1,67, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E melalui pendekatan kontekstual berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 30Makassar pada materi pokok bahan kimia.Kata kunci: Learning cycle 5E, Pendekatan kontekstual, Hasil belajar, Bahan kimiaABSTRACTThe aim of this quasi experiment research is to find out the postive effects ofLearning Cycle 5E ModelThrough Contextual Approach To Student’s Achievement of ClassVIII SMPN30 Makassareducation year 2013/2014(study on chemical substance).
