<![CDATA[This research is expected to be able to find out the constraints of lectures on Basic Science Concepts based on the perception of the lecturer, to obtain solutions to overcoming problems related to low student learning outcomes achievement. The qualitative descriptive method with 4 respondents out of 10 lecturers in the Study Program of Natural Sciences for Elementary School Teacher Education at the Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. The results and discussion are reviewed from four aspects, namely (1) Use of lecture models/strategies/methods; (2) Use of learning media; (3) Problems and challenges faced by lecturers when delivering the learning material; (3) Student's challenges in attending learning activities; (4) Solutions provided by lecturers in overcoming learning problems. Based on the triangulation processing method and data analysis from Miles and Huberman, it was concluded that although lecturers are not constrained in delivering lecture materials, successful learning requires significant related efforts by students. Active learning that emphasizes presentation, discussion, and question-and-answer methods is highly recommended to ensure the full engagement of students in the online study sessions.]]>
