The Jeneberang River has a watershed that covering an area of 860 km2. At the same time, the area of the river reaches 9,33 km2 with surface water potential of 13,23 million/year and groundwater potential of 1,504 million/year. The rain gauge network is influenced by several factors, included the rainfall factor, so collecting data on the rain gauge network stations is necessary. Based on this, it is necessary to map the rain gauge network and the optimum value of the rain station. This study uses the Polygon Thiessen method based on statistical principles, which are then presented through maps from processed data using ArcGIS Desktop 10.8. From the results of calculating the average rainfall data for the Jeneberang Watershed using the polygon thissen method, the average regional rainfall in 2011-2020 was 2,958.83 mm and it was obtained that rain stations in the Jeneberang Watershed area with an area of 133,218 km2 should have 6.1 stations and there should be 6 (six) stations.
