<![CDATA[The escalation of sexual violence against children in Makassar City requires serious attention, particularly the role of parents in preventive interventions. This study aims to analyze parental interventions in preventing sexual violence against children in Makassar City. The study used a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method. The sample consisted of 37 parents of Al-Azhar Kindergarten students selected using purposive sampling. Data collection used a Likert-scale questionnaire covering aspects of communication, supervision, sexual education, and preventive measures. Data analysis used descriptive statistics. The results showed a very high level of parental intervention with an average score of 89.3. Most respondents were mothers (70%), had a bachelor's degree (60%), and had a middle-income. Statistical tests showed no significant relationship between education level (p=0.903) or income (p=0.730) and the level of intervention. Parental intervention in preventing sexual violence against children in Makassar City is relatively high and is not influenced by educational or economic background, but rather by awareness, motivation, and social norms. This study indicates the importance of broader, community-based parental education and empowerment strategies.]]>
