This study aims to analyze the educational role of village libraries as learning resources in improving community literacy. Village libraries function not only as providers of reading materials but also as non-formal educational facilities that support the development of knowledge, skills, and a culture of literacy in the community. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Research subjects included village library managers and community library users. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that village libraries play a significant educational role in improving community literacy through the provision of reading materials, literacy programs, learning assistance, and the use of digital media. The existence of village libraries can also increase reading interest and community awareness of the importance of literacy in everyday life. However, optimizing the library's function still faces several obstacles, such as limited facilities, limited reading collections, and community participation. Therefore, support from the village government, managers, and the community is needed to develop village libraries as innovative and sustainable learning resource centers.
