This research is motivated by the low skill of students' sprint techniques due to the lack of variety of learning media in PJOK subjects. To overcome this, cone media is used as a learning aid designed to train speed, agility, and coordination of motion. This study aims to determine the effect of using cone media on improving the sprint technique skills of class X students. The method used in this research is an experiment with a quantitative approach and a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study were all class X students of MAN Dompu as many as 177 people, with a sample of 30 students taken using random sampling. Data collection was done through sprint tests before and after treatment. The normality test results showed that the data were normally distributed (Sig.> 0.05), the homogeneity test showed that the data were homogeneous (Sig. > 0,05), and the t-test using independent sample t-test showed that the t-count value of -3.372 was greater than the t-table of 2.048 with a degree of freedom (df) of 28 significance 0.002 <0.05. Thus, there was a significant difference between the groups. Thus, there is a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group. Thus, there is a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group. These results prove that the use of cone media is effective in improving sprinting technique skills. Thus, cone media can be used as an alternative to interesting and effective learning media on sprint running material in PJOK learning.
