<![CDATA[Teaching materials are an important element in learning. that the role of a teacher in designing or compiling teaching materials really determines the success of the teaching and learning process through teaching materials. This research aims to make it easier for teachers to design learning according to instructional rules to help and support the learning process so that it has its own benefits for teachers in implementing learning. The research method used is literature. The data collection technique was carried out through library research, namely by collecting several articles from journals and books relating to teaching materials in schools. The results of this research are the benefits of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching materials in schools, including: 1) Increasing students' understanding of Islamic values 2) Meaningful learning, with interesting teaching materials, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning becomes more meaningful and interesting for students 3) Cognitive Development, material that is adapted to students' cognitive development can improve the ability to think carefully, critically, logically and systematically 4) Application in real life, contextual teaching materials and form good and responsible character answer 5) Creativity and Innovation, Developing creative and innovative teaching materials can increase creativity on the part of both educators and students in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI).]]>
