This study examined the anxiety levels experienced by athletes at Satria Kencana Serasi Academy, Bergas District, Semarang Regency, during competitive events. A quantitative descriptive design was employed to provide an overview of athletes’ anxiety when facing competition-related pressure. The sample consisted of 20 athletes who had participated in competitions within the previous two years. Data were collected using the Indonesian version of the Sport Anxiety Scale-2 (SAS-2Id), administered through Google Forms. Descriptive analysis revealed a mean anxiety score of 49.65, with a maximum score of 60. The frequency distribution indicated that most athletes were categorized as having high anxiety (40%), followed by moderately high anxiety (30%). Overall, 75% of the athletes demonstrated elevated levels of competitive anxiety. These findings suggest that competition anxiety remains a significant psychological challenge for athletes and may negatively affect performance. Therefore, psychological intervention programs, including relaxation techniques, mental skills training, and social support, are recommended to help athletes manage competitive stress and optimize performance outcomes.
