<![CDATA[The dead branch drain became a problem in the rectangular culvert project carried out by the Malang City Government because water could not flow properly from the paved road into the drainage system. This condition caused weed growth, urine odor, puddles after rain, sand accumulation that could make motorcycle tires slip, and muddy sidewalks that endangered pedestrians. The aim of this community service was to channel water from the rectangular culvert to the branch drain and allow rainwater on the paved road to enter the drain through a grating cover. The methods included discussions with the Head of RW 06, RT 03 residents, and Taman Kusuma 2 Housing residents, determining the design, installing embankments in the control basin, and installing a 20 cm cylindrical culvert beneath the PDAM pipe. The results showed that the drainage system functioned effectively in reducing weeds, odors, puddles, and dirt accumulation, creating synergy between Malang State Polytechnic and the community in building a clean, healthy, and beautiful environment.]]>
