<![CDATA[The community must be adept at recognizing the potential that exists to survive in a developing economy. One way is by utilizing the market as a source of livelihood. The market has great potential to create a better community economy. This study aims to find out whether Mundu Market has the potential to improve the economy of the community in Mundu District and what the economic perspective is regarding the behavior of Mundu Market traders in improving the economy. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research with data collection through interviews and observation. In this research the author chose 21 informants, namely 14 traders, 5 buyers, 1 head of Mundu Market. The results obtained from this research are that Mundu Market has the potential to improve the economy of the Mundu community. The conclusion of this research is that Mundu Market provides changes to traders in the economic and educational fields, so that traders gain more profits and can increase children's education to a higher level. Then, the behavior of traders at Mundu Market exemplifies a good, polite and honest attitude when trading. Thus, this will give a good impression to buyers to shop again, because buyers trust the merchant. Apart from that, traders also often give bonuses that make buyers happier when shopping at Mundu Market.]]>
