<![CDATA[Food expenditure is widely used as a measure to evaluate food security. This research aims to determine the factors that influence household expenditure of dairy farmers in Semarang Regency, Central Java. This research used a survey method in Tengaran District, Semarang Regency, in August-September 2023. The sampling method used Random Sampling by taking a sample of 100 dairy farmers. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis to test the influence between the independent variables (income, family size, age, education, impact of PMK, and off-farm) and the dependent variable (food expenditure). The research results show that there is a significant positive influence between income, family size, age, off-farm, and the impact of FMD. However, education level does not show a significant influence on food expenditure. The advice for farmers is to manage income wisely and look for additional sources of income to increase income, so that food expenditure also increases.]]>
