The rapid development of technology in the 4.0 era has had positive and negative impacts on all fronts, starting from the economic, social and hypothesized, including the social life of students at the university of Gastric Mangkurat. The role of religion seems to be a benchmark and benefit or filter for filtering incoming foreign culture which can have an impact on social life on campus. This research aims to find out the role of religion in the social life of Gastric Mangkurat University students in the 4.0 era, through a qualitative approach and using observation methods in the form of interviews with random sampling techniques.
