Religious social research often involves communities with very specific and sometimes sensitive values, beliefs, and religious practices. This study was conducted to address the need for strong ethical guidelines and cultural sensitivity in religious social research. The aim of this research is to identify and explore the necessary ethical and sensitivity standards to ensure that research is conducted responsibly. The research method used is a qualitative approach, focusing on meaning rather than generalization. The findings show that the application of ethical standards, such as informan consent, confidentiality of identity and data, honesty, and fairness, as well as cultural sensitivity, it is crucial in ensuring the integrity and success of the research conducted. Emphasis on the importance of respecting religious values and practices and maintaining transparent and open communication between researchers and research subjects is also significant. Furthermore, the implications of this research highlight the need for the development of specific ethical guidelines related to religious social research that accommodate cultural and religious diversity. The results of this study are expected to serve as a guide for researchers in conducting religious social research with high ethical and sensitivity principles.
