<![CDATA[Parenting is defined as the way parents care for, guide and educate their children to achieve optimal independence and development. The importance of parents' knowledge of parenting methods in accordance with Islamic teachings, as well as the negative impact of inappropriate parenting, such as physical and mental abuse. In addition, it is explained that positive parenting, such as democratic parenting, can improve children's social, emotional and intellectual development. The study begins with a background of the problem that identifies the importance of parenting in shaping children's character and behavior. Furthermore, this research outlines the various types of parenting based on the age range of children, as well as the roles and responsibilities of parents in educating children in accordance with Islamic teachings. This research is a type of library research that uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the data collection technique is a literature study, and the data analysis uses the content analysis method. The results show the importance of a deep understanding of parenting and its impact on child development, as well as the need for the application of Islamic educational values in parenting. Through in-depth analysis, the author hopes that this research can provide useful insights for parents and educators in an effort to create a pious and noble generation.]]>
