<![CDATA[The research adopted a qualitative research approach and a case study design to analyze. The researcher used two episodes that were broadcast in January and February 2024. This research focused on identifying and categorizing language styles based on Martin Joos’s theory. For code-switching, the research used Poplack’s (1980) theory. The research aims to understand comprehensively the dominant language style and code-switching types in the talk show ‘Sore Ceria Special English.’ The frozen and formal styles were not found. For code-switching, intra-sentential switching dominated with 14 occurrences, in contrast to inter-sentential switching, which had only 2 occurrences. Tag switching was not found in this research. The prevalent use of casual style and minimal code-switching reflects the talk show’s aim to engage a wide audience in a relaxed and easy-going way. This explains why it adjusted to the content and had native speakers as guests. This research provides an overview of language style and code-switching in a talk show. This research provides insight into language style and code-switching that is appropriate for the broadcasting industry.]]>
