The partnership model in broiler chicken farming helps farmers overcome limitations in capital, production facilities, and marketing. However, its implementation still faces production risks that may hinder business success. This study aims to describe the partnership mechanism and analyze production risks encountered by broiler chicken farmers in Bukit Liti Village, Kahayan Tengah District, Pulang Pisau Regency. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants consisted of four plasma farmers and two company representatives (Technical Service and Branch Manager). Data analysis involved reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was tested using source triangulation. The results reveal that the partnership mechanism includes farmer registration, provision of production inputs (DOC, feed, medicines), technical assistance, and marketing of harvests at a contracted price. Although the partnership reduces market risks, production risks remain significant, including Newcastle Disease outbreaks, extreme weather, uneven DOC quality, and feed delivery delays. Based on risk management theory, mitigation should focus on improving the quality of production inputs, providing intensive technical support, and offering risk management training. These measures can ensure the partnership operates sustainably and productively.
