Criminal acts that threaten human life and property are categorized as serious crimes in the Indonesian criminal law system. These crimes directly affect the fundamental rights of individuals, namely the right to life and the right to own property. The Indonesian Criminal Code regulates various forms of crimes against life and property along with criminal sanctions for the perpetrators. This research aims to examine the legal regulation related to crimes against human life and property as well as to analyze the criminal liability imposed on perpetrators according to the provisions of the new Criminal Code. This study applies normative legal research using statutory and conceptual approaches. The results indicate that the new Criminal Code provides a clearer framework regarding the elements of criminal acts and the sanctions imposed on offenders. Criminal liability can be imposed on individuals who intentionally commit acts that cause harm to another person's life or property. Effective law enforcement is necessary to ensure justice, legal certainty, and protection for the community
