Klungkung Regency possesses intangible cultural heritage (Kamasan classical painting, Besan palm sugar, and Kusamba salt) that is currently threatened by a regeneration crisis. This study aims to analyze the underlying factors causing the disruption of intergenerational cultural transmission and to design a tourism model as a preservation solution. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a multi-site case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with maestro artisans and representatives of the Tourism Agency. These data were subsequently validated through field observations and triangulation. The findings indicate that the regeneration crisis is triggered by three primary factors: the economic pragmatism of youth who prefer the formal sector, physical barriers combined with the technical rigidity of the crafts, and the "tourism paradox," wherein passive tourist visits have not yet provided a direct economic impact for the artisans. As a preservation solution, this study proposes the "Klungkung Heritage Trail" model, which is based on experiential tourism. This model integrates the three cultural sites, repositions artisans as educators, and creates a "digital intergenerational bridge" that actively involves the youth. The successful implementation of this model requires the improvement of basic infrastructure and the standardization of tour prices by the regional government.
